The worst thing about planning a wedding from out of state is missing out on all of the fun little moments. So when we went back home to Ohio a couple months ago we were able to taste the food that's being served at the wedding. I'm super excited because everything was really good and just what I wanted. We are having a random selection of food but we just wanted the things we like to eat the most. I'm just happy we were able to go home and try the food ourselves. We will have a mostly vegan menu minus the fish and macaroni and cheese.

We aren't following any rules when it comes to our wedding, we are doing the things that makes us happy and represent our love. Nothing else should matter when planning a wedding.

I don't believe in spending a bunch of money for one night, yes this is an important night to celebrate. However for us the marriage is the most important aspect of this whole situation. I don't want to be paying for a wedding after the wedding. Nor do I want to look back and feel like I could have used my money for better things. So just remember to stay on budget and be realistic about your celebration. Also try not to take in to many opinions especially if they are coming from people that aren't paying.
