Even though I home school Amirah we still have a schedule every single day. It’s important to incorporate the fun things about getting ready for school to create some normalcy. JCPenney has tons of amazing back to school deals where you are able to get more for your buck. Amirah is a free spirit; she is a girl who expresses her self through what she wears. There isn’t one category that fits her sense of style; it really depends on the day. It’s important that I allow her to express herself but also doing it on a budget that’s realistic. We had so much fun back to school shopping at JCPenney the other day. She grabbed so many cute outfits that she can mix and match with clothes she already has at home.

Two of her favorite outfits she got are from Arizona (www.jcpenney.com), Arizona’s line plays more to my daughter’s artistic side. The brown suede skirt is one of her favorite pieces; she’s already matched it with like five tops in her closet. Black leggings can go with anything, but I especially love the top Amirah paired them with. Don’t let back to school shopping stress you out. Simply allow your child a few choices of their own and realize we’ve all had different styles over the year. Shopping at a store that offers great deals is an easy way to make the process fun.
